A BARGAIN Hunt expert was left in disbelief after he set a new world record with an eye-watering sale. Charles Hanson is a firm favourite on the BBC series and has a wealth of experience in buying and selling valuable items.
But even he was amazed by the sale he made on a letter belonging to Lord Nelson. It can be a tricky arena to sell in, as forgeries of documents and dispatches from the Vice-Admiral have floated around the market over the years.
However, authentic rare letters are currently on sale online from £2,000 to £8,000. But Charles gazumped all of that with his genuine document, earning a staggering £58,000 and setting a new world record.
