Skilled migrants and students will instead take priority over foreign holidaymakers as the country opens up, Prime Minister Scott Morrsion said on Tuesday.
The announcement comes as last week plans to allow vaccinated citizens and permanent residents to fly abroad from November were revealed by Mr Morrison, the first time Australians can travel overseas since a strict travel band was enforced in March last year.
