Arcade Fire’s Glasgow show is to go ahead as planned next week despite sexual misconduct claims against lead singer Win Butler.
The band will continue their world tour despite sexual misconduct allegations emerging against Butler. Four women came forward to accuse Butler of sexual misconduct this weekend.
The band, whose first album Funeral was lauded as one of the greatest of the new millennium, play at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on Monday September 5.
Butler 42, is married to bandmate Régine Chassagne and they have a nine-year-old son.In a new investigation from Pitchfork, four people – who were between 18 and 23-years-old at the time of the alleged interactions between 2015 and 2020 and asked to use pseudonyms when sharing their stories – accused Butler of “inappropriate” actions.Butler stated: “While these relationships were all consensual, I am very sorry to anyone who I have hurt with my behaviour.
