Anger over further deadline extension for talks on controversial Park of Keir development

Objectors to the controversial Park of Keir development expressed anger this week over yet another deadline extension for negotiations between developers and Stirling Council.It follows the recent refusal of the council to back another extension – believed to be the 14th such extension – since the initial three-month deadline was set in August 2017 for conditions to be agreed.The council had originally been tasked with ironing out conditions attached to planning permission granted for the tennis centre and housing on the greenbelt site between Dunblane and Bridge of Allan after Scottish Ministers called in the plans.In December 2015 Stirling Council had refused the application after the blueprint attracted over 1000 objections.
