Kerem Shloime School has lawfully occupied Gloucester House in Broughton since August 2018, opening to pupils without requiring planning permission.
But the Orthodox Jewish primary school for boys has not been allowed to use some of the building in Back Duncan Street on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Salford council has now approved an application by the independent school to remove this condition restricting the use of the first floor during those days.
