All the Elden Ring lore you need to know ahead of launch
manchestereveningnews.co.ukWith Elden Ring launching this week, fans are excited to get their heads stuck into another story-rich world developed by FromSoftware.
The developer's previous titles such as Dark Souls and Bloodborne were renowned for their in-depth and complicated stories which could only be truly understood by the most hardcore players who had to piece it all together themselves.
Both games were known to do this by leaving bits of the story in the background and throwing hints at players through item descriptions and vague dialogue from NPCs. Read more: While the full story and lore behind Elden Ring will only be fully discovered once the game is released, FromSoftware has left us enough breadcrumbs to piece large parts of the story and setting already.
The Lands Between will be home to a story created by George R.R. Martin rich with dark fantasy elements. Players will take the role of The Tarnished, a descendant of a group of people who were banished from the Lands Between presumably aeons ago.
