All ten boroughs of Greater Manchester still have coronavirus infection rates below national average

Coronavirus infection rates are continuing to fall across Greater Manchester and remain below the national average in all ten boroughs.

Latest data has revealed that cases are dropping in each of the boroughs, with some seeing a fall of as much as 40 per cent week on week.

Stockport continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester with a rate of 257.7 cases per 100,000 people as of February 24. Oldham has also seen the biggest drop recently, with an infection rate decline of 40 per cent. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 193.7 cases per 100,000 population.
