manchestereveningnews.co.ukIt seems that in the latest season of Channel 5's All Creatures Great and Small, Samuel West's character, Siegfried Farnon, is struggling to keep the veterinary practice afloat in Darrowby.
As the fifth season kicked off, fans witnessed the usually unflappable vet managing the clinic almost single-handedly as James Herriot (played by Nicholas Ralph) and Tristan Farnon (portrayed by Callum Woodhouse) contributed to the war effort.
With only an inexperienced new recruit to assist him, the actor revealed that his character is feeling somewhat overwhelmed.
Prior to the show's launch, Samuel commented: "We've got a lovely baby, and I'm taking my godparenting duties very seriously. "In fact, Jimmy is undoubtedly the person in the house I get on with best, and certainly the one with the best conversation.
