Ali Wong took home the Golden Globe tonight for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made For Television for Beef.
It was her first nomination and her first win. Wong had a long walk to the stage that was nearly as long as her brief acceptance speech.
Keeping it short and sweet, the actress thanked co-star Steven Yeun, show creator Lee Sung Jin and her husband. (Yeun went on to win in his category shortly after Wong.) The very tight race in the category also included Riley Keough for Daisy Jones & the Six, Brie Larson for Lessons in Chemistry, Elizabeth Olsen for Love & Death, Juno Temple for Fargo and Rachel Weisz for Dead Ringers.
The Golden Globes were held at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday, with Jo Koy hosting the ceremony. See a full list of winners here.
