The inquiry into the Scottish Government's botched handling of complaints made against Alex Salmond has asked the courts service for help in accessing the documents it needs.
A cross-party committee of MSPs - which is looking into how Holyrood's complaints process was ultimately found to be "biased" by a judge last year - has complained its work is being "hampered" by a lack of access to relevant papers.MSP Linda Fabiani claimed yesterdsay the Scottish Government had not provided “enough” to the committee and added that they could have “more” from the former First Minister himself.She said: “I would like more transparency here so that we can get to the bottom of this.”The committee has now tried to bypass ministers by writing directly to.
