They announced their engagement in March 2019.“We’re really happy,” Lopez said in an interview with People after Rodriguez proposed to her in the Bahamas. “We have [an] appreciation for where we are in our lives today, and that’s what we’re enjoying the most,” Rodriguez added at the time.

But in March 2021, Page Six broke the news that the pair called off their engagement.The stars released a joint statement in April 2021 confirming their breakup.“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they said. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.

We wish the best for each other and each other’s children.”Rodriguez has rarely commented on Lopez since their split, aside from when he told Entertainment Tonight in Aug.
