'Abandoned and discarded' Scots mum forced to sell house to pay for £60k MS treatment in Russia

While English health boards fund the cost of the £60,000 treatment, sufferers north of the Border are being forced to find the money ­themselves.Mum-of-four Lynda Hogg broke down in tears as she told how she is selling her house to pay for hematopoietic stem cell treatment (HSCT) in Russia.

Lynda, 58, said: “I feel completely abandoned and discarded as a human being by the Scottish Government and by the NHS in Scotland.
