A PLACE In The Sun host Jonnie Irwin has admitted he has kept his terminal cancer diagnosis a secret from his kids. The Channel 4 presenter, 48, has been told he has just "six months to live" after first contracting lung cancer in 2020.
Dad of three Jonnie's cancer has sadly spread to his brain - with doctors then offering the devastating prognosis. Jonnie has now opened up on keeping his children Rex, aged three, and twins Cormac and Rafa, both two, in the dark.
In a bittersweet note he has told how his eldest has already begun to poke fun at his hair loss. Jonnie told Hello! Magazine of Rex: "He doesn't need to know yet.
