A young woman, who was unvaccinated, is now learning how to walk and talk again after being in a coma from contracting Covid-19.Ffion Barnett, aged 22, tested positive for the virus two days after her 22nd birthday but she believed that she would recover quickly since she was young and healthy.

However, she soon became very unwell and started to experience difficulty with breathing so she was rushed to Royal Glamorgan Hospital, South Wales, in August 2021.

North Wales Live reports that medical professionals placed Ffion into an induced coma for five days and once she woke up she needed to relearn how to walk, talk, eat and even sleep.

The student admitted that she did not get the jab because she thought she was safe as a young and healthy person.She said: "I wasn't vaccinated because I thought, being young with no health conditions, I was safe.
