A student who caught Covid just two days before her 22nd birthday had to relearn how to walk, talk, eat and even sleep after the virus led to her being put in a coma.
Ffion Barnett initially thought she was young and healthy enough to avoid becoming seriously ill when she first tested positive for coronavirus, however soon began struggling to breath.
The marketing student required urgent admission to Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant, Wales where she was put in an induced coma for five days during the traumatic health scare, Wales Online reports. "I wasn't vaccinated because I thought, being young with no health conditions, I was safe.
