A young boy who was left deaf in one ear after being hit by a car as a small child has wowed crowds at Scotland's busiest train station with his amazing piano skills.
Despite only learning to play the instrument a year ago, Joshua Faulkes bravely took to the keys on the famous piano at Glasgow's Central Station last weekend.
Joshua was only three when he was left completely deaf in his right ear after being knocked over by the car in 2013. The now-12-year-old was walking back home from nursery with mum Michelle when he was run over by a deaf pensioner who failed to see him when he was pulling out of his driveway. The tot was rushed to hospital after being left in a pool of blood in front of horrified onlookers at the scene in Dundonald, Ayrshire, and was treated for a basilar skull fracture.Resilient Joshua made an incredible recovery but just a year later was diagnosed as deaf in one ear and he still uses a hearing aid to this day.
But determined not to let his lack of hearing hold him back, the young man has taught himself the piano at home in the past year.
