Tameside before smashing her van into a wall and a lamppost, a court heard. An officer spotted Danielle Burns, 20, driving the vehicle at speed in Hattersley at around 1.40am on September 10 last year.They signalled for her to pull over and activated their blue emergency lights but Burns didn't stop.She led the police car on a pursuit through Hyde then up to Dukinfield.

Prosecutor Neil Ronan told Minshull Street Crown Court how the defendant reached speeds of around 80 miles per hour during the pursuit.

She drove at 50 miles per hour over speed bumps on a built-up, residential street.After around 10 minutes, the chase came to an end when Burns mounted the pavement on Birch Lane and hit her van into a wall.She also struck a street lamppost.
