The 46-year-old was hit by a blue Subara Impreza on Barrhead Road, near the Silverburn shopping centre, on Monday.We told earlier how the incident happened on the junction with Boydstone Road at about 5.35pm.The woman was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated for her injuries.But tragically she died a short time later.A police spokesman confirmed the road was closed until 1.45am on Tuesday whilst officers carried out an investigation.Sergeant Stewart Taylor, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “We are supporting the woman's family at this incredibly difficult time.“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding this crash are ongoing and we are encouraging anyone with any information to get.
