Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Woman, 20, found unresponsive in bedroom at psychiatric ward with 'extensive self-harm wounds'

A young woman who 'loved to make people laugh' and dreamt of one day becoming a nurse was found 'unresponsive' by staff in her bedroom at a locked psychiatric unit, an inquest has heard.

Amina Ismail was found fatally injured in her room on the Pankhurst Ward, a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal near Stockport on September 15 last year.

Emergency services attended the scene and attempted resuscitation, but she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. The 20-year-old, originally from Birmingham, had been detained as an out-of-area patient in the privately-owned Priory Group hospital under the Mental Health Act since August of 2022 - 13 months before she died. Manchester South Coroner's Court heard how her struggles first began when a police investigation was launched into historic abuse she had suffered as a child.
