Officers were called to reports of a man with a knife at the Premier Store, on Beech Hill Avenue, at about 8.55pm on Thursday, April 1.

Greater Manchester Police says the offender threatened to stab customers and the store worker if he did not get what he demanded.

The force has now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following the incident. Detective Constable Paul Sumner said: "The suspect entered the store, produced a large knife and said: 'Give me the money out of the till'. "The victim refused and the suspect then threatened
