ITV's new true-crime drama Des sees David Tenant portray serial killer Dennis Nilsen.The three-part series will depict the police investigation into the murders committed by the notorious necrophile.Nilsen is believed to have killed up to 15 people after he confessed to police back in 1983.But even to this day, not all the bodies have been recovered.Des is based on material from the book Killing For Company by Brian Masters which focuses on one of the most infamous cases in UK criminal history.The story will be told through the prism of three men – Dennis Nilsen played by Tennant, Detective Chief Inspector Peter Jay played by Daniel Mays and biographer Brian Masters played by Jason Watkins.The series will explore.
