The pair wowed the judges with their routine and received a score of 31 for the notoriously difficult dance. Anton du Beke said it was "exactly the sort of rumba I like" while Shirley Ballas said "I am shocked, it is beautiful" and Craig Revel Horwood added: "I absolutely loved it!" Motsi Mabuse told Angela: "I feel like you are just a message for all women out there, saying, 'Don't stop, life is good.'" But it wasn't just the judges who were pleased with the performance as Kai rushed to praise Angela when the music ended.
As the pair finished their sensual Rumba, Kai embraced his celebrity partner and whispered: "You legend. You absolute legend." Viewers were also quick to comment on Angela's sensational routine as @Suzicarrigan posted on Twitter: "You can’t deny for her age, Angela Rippon can move.
