Following the devastating news of her death, Dame Deborah and her family have received an outpouring of support, including fans wanting to buy shirts in her memory and to help raise vital funds. ‘Rebellious hope’ was a phrase that became synonymous with Dame Deborah and it was something she wanted to encourage people to have right up until her last moment.
Announcing her death via her official Instagram page, Dame Deborah’s family shared some final words: ‘Find a life worth enjoying; take risks; love deeply; have no regrets; and always, always have rebellious hope.
