Budget pub chain Wetherspoons has announced a controversial change to its menu - and some fans will be livid. The pub has decided to axe some of the nation's most popular drinks from its menu.

From December 15, pub-goers will no longer be able to order Strongbow and Strongbow Dark Fruits, or John Smith bitters. READ MORE: Drivers warned they can be fined £5,000 for wearing boots, winter coats, Christmas jumpers and sparkles The change comes after the company signed a new 20-year deal with Budweiser Brewing Group to become its largest supplier.

The agreement will see drinks including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Corona, Leffe Blonde and Bud Light - as well as Bathtub Gin, Bud Light Seltzer and Mike’s Hard Seltzer - feature in all 860
