Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.West Lothian Foodbank are asking the public to donate to their Christmas appeal.For the second year running the local food bank will be operating a reverse advent calendar challenge.The food bank want to ensure that nobody in the area goes without food this Christmas.Residents in the county and beyond are therefore being asked to donate 24 items to make up a hamper to be given out to marginalised people in the community.Their advent challenge has already started but it easy for people to get involved and catch up.For 24 days, from Friday November 1, they are asking supporters to donate an item daily from the list provided and place it in a gift.
