City Winery is celebrating Passover with its annual variety show, Downtown Seder. The livestream this year (April 6) will feature Perry Farrell, drummer Max Weinberg, comedian Lewis Black and more putting a digital, modern spin on Passover Seder. “More than 20 artists, thinkers and entertainers will join live in this unprecedented gathering as we wander together through the quarantine desert; an ancient dinner party that transcends religion and provokes new thinking in a world hungry for order," the website reads.
During the stream, Black will open with the meaning of the bitter herbs, congressman Jerry Nadler will ask the four questions, Seth Herzog will do the 10 plagues and Farrell will take on Passover staple song, “Dayenu.” Watch the
