Ayrshire motorists have been warned of apparent 'lethal' driving conditions this morning. One road user said the M77 from Fenwick to Silverburn was "absolutely lethal" as snow continued to fall.A yellow weather warning remains in place until 9am tomorrow for much of the central belt.Another Ayrshire driver told fellow road users to "avoid" the M77 as blizzard-like conditions hit the major road earlier.Ayrshire Police Division also warned local drivers to stay at home and only travel if essential.The force posted: "Please take care on the roads this morning."Snow and difficult driving conditions affecting some parts of Ayrshire this morning and towards Glasgow and Renfrewshire too."If you do need to make an essential journey please do so.
