Volunteers sell Christmas trees to aid Perth homeless charity

A Perth charity supporting those who are homeless or are under threat of homelessness has set up a stall selling Christmas trees to help raise funds towards its services.Organised by Churches Action For the Homeless (CATH), members of the public can now buy festive conifers from their base at Unit 20 at the Ladeside Business Centre.From December 4-12 the workshop will be open from 10am to 8pm during weekdays, and 10am to 4pm at weekends.CATH project co-ordinator Ewan Loudon says that they currently have 18 volunteers helping out with 50 trees currently for sale.If all the trees are sold the centre could raise more than £2500.“We have 50 trees at the moment but we can bring in more, with 18 volunteers helping us so far,” Ewan said.“They all
