Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Vasilis Barkas has been named the second best goalkeeper of the year in a poll in his native Greece.The shot-stopper joined the Premiership champions from AEK Athens in the summer but has struggled in Scotland.With one of the lowest save percentages in the division and a number of high-profile errors, manager Neil Lennon has turned to Scott Bain in recent weeks.But it seems Barkas remains highly rated in his homeland as he came second in a prestigious Player of the Year vote.Barkas finished runners-up in the Best Goalkeeper category to Portuguese international keeper Jose Sa, who plays for Greek champions Olympiacos.Sa said: "This is a magnificent honour for me especially since I won it ahead of some great goalkeepers too."It's the result.
