Urgent search to find missing Ayrshire man as police say they're becoming 'increasingly concerned'

Police have launched an urgent search to find a missing Ayrshire man who vanished on Friday night.Alexander Gaw disappeared at around 6.40pm in the Kilwinning Road area of Irvine.Cops say the 37-year-old Largs man has been dealing with some personal issues and they're becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.Alexander is described as white, 6ft in height and of medium build with a shaved head and a pale complexion.

When he was last seen he was wearing a blue jacket with dark-blue shoulders and blue jeans.Sergeant Allan Glass said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alexander as it is out of character for him not to keep in contact with his family and friends.
