Two charged after aggravated burglary in Wilmslow

Daniel Cooke, 33, of Clay Lane, Handforth and Jason Richards, 26, of Ashby Avenue, Manchester will appear at Crewe Magistrates today (May 18).

Cheshire police issued an appeal following reports of an aggravated burglary at a flat in Twinnies Road, Wilmslow. In a statement Cheshire Constabulary said : "At 2.25am on Monday, May 17, police were called to the flat following reports that two men had broken into the property by smashing a window and threatened the two occupants with a knife. "They then fled in a car which they abandoned in Wallingford Road before fleeing toward the nearby estate."
