TUI has cancelled all flights to a Spanish destination until next month due to an ongoing volcanic eruption. The holiday operator has halted all routes to La Palma on the Canary Islands after more than 40 tremors struck over the weekend and the volcano shows no signs of slowing down.
TUI issued an update on its website and said it would contact customers directly with flights cancelled up until November 3.
The statement reads: "Due to the ongoing situation we’ve unfortunately had to cancel all flights to La Palma departing up to and including 3 November 2021.
All impacted customers will be contacted directly to discuss their options."We’d like to reassure customers due to travel to any other Canary Islands that our flights are currently
