Tim Horton’s, the Canadian coffee chain, is set to open its new drive-thru and restaurant in Stirling tomorrow morning.The new outlet, located on the site of the former Pizza Hut restaurant, will be operating at Springkerse Retail Park from Friday, March 18, at 7am.The cafe chain - which has a menu including bagels, muffins, donuts, cakes and coffees - was founded by Tim Horton, a Canadian National Hockey League legend, who opened the first store in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.Since then outlets have sprung up across the world, first coming to the UK in 2017.
There are already several in Scotland, the closest being Stenhousemuir, Cumbernauld and Perth.To celebrate the opening, the first fan in the drive-thru and restaurant queue will be awarded with free drinks for a whole year (a prize worth £3,100).
The brand will also give away a free breakfast meal to its first 100 customers. (Conditions apply).In addition, Tim Hortons will run a series of giveaways including free drinks and donuts for those who activate their Tim Hortons’ digital wallet.
Guests will simply need to scan a QR code found at the restaurant or by visiting a link via their mobile to activate the rewards wallet.The new Tim Hortons restaurant will open from 6am till midnight, seven days a week.
