mum has sparked a fierce debate after sharing a video of her six-month-old daughter getting her ears pierced. Marisa Carpineta divided opinions when she posted the clip on TikTok urging parents to avoid piercing guns and telling them they should go to a tattoo and piercing specialist instead.

In the video the mum can be seen holding her baby's head while another adult uses a large needle to pierce her ears.In the clip she says: "Stop using piercing guns on your babies.

Get them pierced at a tattoo and piercing shop instead."The mum even jokes that her baby daughter gives her a "dirty look" after the piercing is done, before sharing an after picture of the tot with the caption "happy baby".However, the mum's video has outraged many TikTok.
