The man responsible for the music of “Tiger King” has just scored a new record deal. Vince Johnson’s songs from the Netflix series will be turned into an album, as part of his deal with BMG Rights Management and Create Music Group.

Johnson originally became involved with “Tiger King” after responding to an ad by Joe Exotic. The big-cat breeder wanted someone to write a theme song for his zoo.

Johnson was behind viral songs featured in the series, such as “I Saw a Tiger” and “Here Kitty Kitty”. More coronavirus deaths were recorded in South Lanarkshire than anywhere else in Scotland last week.Figures released by the National Records of Scotland today (Wednesday, June 10) revealed the number of coronavirus deaths in the region had risen for the first time in six weeks.The 13 coronavirus deaths indicated a rise of 62.5 per cent from the previous week and was five higher than anywhere else in Scotland.Of those, seven occurred in care homes and six in the region’s hospitals.That brings the total number of deaths here from the virus to 295, 134 of which were in care homes.
