A thug who bottled a teenager and struck another with a machete has been jailed for 30 months today. Jack Andrews, 22, attacked Brogan Aird, 18, after a house party in Glasgow ’s Easterhouse area last December.

He picked up a broken glass bottle from the street and stabbed Miss Aird, who required surgery to her forearm. The brutal assault came 13 months after Andrews smacked Kelsey Wood, 19, with the blade outside his grandparent’s flat.

Andrews was sentenced to a year behind bars between the two attacks for brandishing an axe at a group of youths in December 2018.The dad-of-one pled guilty today to assaulting Miss Wood and Miss Aird to her severe injury under provocation.The court heard Andrews and Miss Aird had been travelling to
