Sick thugs hack cat's tail off and douse another in bleach in Irvine

cats in distressing attacks in Ayrshire. Brutes have left three cats seriously injured in violent attacks in the Auchengate area of Irvine.

One cat came home with it's tail hacked off, another sustained seriously facial injuries.A third cat was found covered in bleach.A concerned owner called the SSPCA animal helpline on 18 June.The Scottish SPCA are hunting the thugs involved in the attacks.

Scottish SPCA chief inspector Laura McIntyre said, “This has been an incredibly upsetting and stressful time for the owners of the cats and we would like to get to the bottom of what has happened. “The injuries inflicted on the cats vary in type and severity. "One cat had its tail cut off, others have sustained facial injuries and one came home covered.
