Three rushed to hospital after horror smash between tractor, lorry and car on Scots road

dailyrecord.co.ukhospital and a vehicle was left ablaze following a horror crash in the Borders. An HGV flipped on to its side after colliding with a tractor, trailer and a car on the A1, near the village of Cockburnspath, at around 10.30am on Monday, November 16.
Pictures posted on Traffic Scotland's Twitter account show police officers and firefighters on the scene, with the HGV flipped and the tractor off the road.
The casualties were treated at the scene by paramedics as firefighters tried to put out the blaze. The road was closed in both directions as a result of the drama, and has now been closed for four hours as the area is made safe.
