There’s some bad news on the way for Netflix fans as the cost of using their premium services is about to get more expensive.

Later this week the streaming giant is reported to be planning to announce an increase to its standard plan of €1 to €12.99.

The standard plan allows users to view content on two screens at the same time. Similarly, premium users who have the ability to stream TV shows and movies on four devices simultaneously, will see their monthly bill increase by €2 to €17.99.

The only glimmer of good news was the basic offering is set to remain unchanged at €7.99 a month. It’s the third price hike in three years since the last one in June 2019.
