After a decade of working in Washington D.C. across two presidential administrations, Condoleezza Rice is certain she doesn’t want to go back.
As she explained to the women of “The View” on Wednesday, it’s time for younger generations to take up positions of leadership.“I hope that what we will do is move on to the next generation of leadership,” Rice said. “Because even people like me, I was in Washington a total of 10 years, two years with George HW Bush, eight years with George W.
Bush, I shouldn’t go back. We ought to move on to the next generation.”When host Joy Behar asked Rice if she’d reconsider, should she be directly asked to return, the answer was a bit more blunt.“I have no desire to go back to Washington D.C.,” Rice responded..
