Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, will relocate from Windsor Castle to Balmoral Castle in Scotland for their annual summer stay.
The couple, aged 94 and 99 respectively, will follow "all relevant government guidelines and advice" for the trip, considering the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing.
They had been staying at Windsor since the spring. Even royals go on summer vacations, and for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, that means embarking on their annual trip to their Scottish residence, Balmoral Castle.
The couple visits the Aberdeenshire estate at the end of every summer, usually for a weeks-long stay. This year, the duo will head out from their current post at Windsor Castle to Balmoral in early August, a Buckingham.
