Coronavirus infection rates are rising in six boroughs across Greater Manchester. Trafford continues to have the highest rate in the region, according to the latest data from Public Health England.
It comes as care home boroughs in the borough were advised to stop anyone aged 16 and under from visiting, apart from in end of life circumstances, to try and spread the stop of the virus among the older population. The rate is falling though, with cases falling by 25 per cent week-on-week in the seven days ending October 16. Infection rates are also falling in Stockport, Tameside and Oldham.
