Chelsea forward Pedro believes Premier League players will need a small pre-season if the remainder of the league campaign is to be played in the coming weeks.
The Football Association confirmed professional football will be postponed until April 30 at the earliest but the recent lock down imposed by the government suggests that date will be pushed back.
Both Manchester United and Manchester City players have been given individual programs to follow at home in order to keep fitness levels high but Pedro believes nothing can compare to the rhythm gained by playing at the highest level.
