Tributes have been paid to a loving 102-year-old who survived losing her arm in the Second World War but died after contracting coronavirus.
Mary Kathleen McKenna, known by friends and family as 'Mollie,' passed away at a care home in south Manchester last week, a few days after testing positive for COVID-19.

Although her death is extremely tragic, her life tells an incredible story of bravery and independence. Born in 1917, Mollie grew up in Withington with her parents and seven siblings - two of whom sadly passed away when she was a little girl.
