Once an undisturbed nature reserve, the woods have now doubled-up as a regular dumping ground for litterers.Drinks bottles, crisp packets, gas canisters and old pieces of furniture line the brooks close to where a squirrel is inquisitively keeping watch of his surroundings.After being furloughed at the start of the year, Chervonne, 32, an assistant chef for an examiner board, has been cleaning up the park as a volunteer for Wythenshawe Waste Warriors, a local group who help clean up parks and green spaces in the area.
