Amid ongoing drama surrounding the category presentations during the telecast, there’s another big 2022 Oscars change.

The Academy is adjusting their policy regarding attendance ahead of the telecast at the Dolby Theater on March 27. Based on advice and recommendations from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science’s medical advisors, the Academy is lifting their original five-day quarantine requirement, via Deadline.

Now, both domestic and international visitors will just need to get a PCR test. Options of concierge service or labs around Hollywood will be provided to travelers, but it is their responsibility to get the test.

If that PCR test is negative, they can head to the Oscars. Deadline also confirmed last month that presenters and performers at the Academy Awards will not be required to show proof of vaccination.
