Tesco and Sainsbury's shoppers furious over 'unexpected payment delays'

Shoppers have hit out at the supermarkets, claiming they were made to wait longer than expected for refunds. Research by Which?

found one customer was left waiting six weeks for money back from her cancelled Sainsbury’s shop worth £90. On its website, Sainsbury’s says customers should expect a refund within five working days.

Sainsbury’s has issued shoppers a £20 voucher to apologise, but these customers say they now feel “let down” by the service.
