Tech teachers have been banned from going to their schools during the coronavirus lockdown to make safety equipment for NHS staff.Staff in Fife want to use 3D printers to produce visors and other personal protection equipment during the national crisis.But they claim bosses have axed the idea on Health and Safety grounds in direct contrast to colleagues elsewhere in Scotland and the UK.English authorities are encouraging schools to open up - under strict social distancing measures - to make the life saving kit.A school in Coventry produced 140 face-shields in just a few days.CDT teacher Stuart Sweetman, of King Henry VIII School, Coventry, said the visors his team are producing “are going out as fast as we can make them" to local hospitals
