Manchester Arena terror attack have lost a legal challenge to be represented at a public inquiry in September. A group of more than 50 survivors had been seeking to overturn a decision by inquiry chairman, Sir John Saunders, not to grant them core participant status.The families of those who lost their lives, the police, the security services, other emergency services and the Arena have been granted the status, among other organisations.If successful, survivors would have been allowed legal representation to obtain disclosure of evidence in advance, challenge evidence and participate in lines of inquiry.Following a hearing earlier this week, senior judges ruled against the survivors, saying their claim that Sir John's decision was unlawful.
