Strictly Come Dancing fans pleaded 'get one with it' as they tuned in to week four of the dance competition. The hit BBC One show was back on screens on Saturday night (October 14) following the spectacular that was last weekend's movie week.
The 13 remaining couples will once again be vying to impress the judges with their routines and you - the voting public - in order to avoid the dreaded dance-off, which last weekend saw Nikita Kanda and Goka Marquez kicked out of the contest.
But as fans tuned into the brand new week in the ballroom, they couldn't help but flock to social media and complain over what they described as 'cringe' opening.
It saw the couples getting all dramatic as they spoke to the camera while in the midst of various moves in the training room. Actress Amanda Abbington also looked serious as she remarked: "There's still so much I want to learn." This carried on until the usual iconic theme tune and credits rolled and Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were eventually introduced into the famous TV ballroom.
